This prestigious job involved the rebranding of all the external signage for over 50 Marks & Spencer stores in stores as far apart as Inverness in the North to Kensington in the centre of London. They also varied in size from a Simply Food in Congleton to a large Out of Town store in Wolstanton Stoke.
This project had the challenge of working in a diverse mix of locations either on busy high streets that needed road closures to large internal mall locations.
Some of these stores required innovative working practices to access signs in seemingly impossible to reach locations, using scaffolding, MEWPs and truck mounted elevation platforms, others were in areas of stringent noise restrictions.
Each store had its own specific design and incorporated different types of signs consisting of a mix of powder coated aluminium and flex face backgrounds, with high gloss finish LED lit text, standalone LED text, totems, window manifestations and badging, as well as brand graphics to trolley bay enclosures.
All carried out at night in rain, wind or snow so that the stores could trade as normal the next day.
