Audas was engaged by Thomas Cook to develop a new concept ‘Discovery Format’ store at the prestigious location of Westfield Stratford City.
This is Thomas Cook’s most innovative shop to date, designed to reflect the way in which customers research and book holidays today, the store brings to life all aspects of a trip away including the hotels, destinations and the flight experience through virtual reality and video content. The store benefits from a fresh and more open design where customers will be able to research the different types of holidays available to them and be introduced to some of the services and experiences they’ll find when they arrive on holiday, such as the Kids Club with Thomas Cook mascots, Lollo and Bernie. Customers will also have the option to book appointments in advance at a time which suits them.
Audas from initial engagement and through our joiner company Sigma developed and manufactured bespoke prototype unitary for the new store format that includes a Welcome Desk, Brochure Wall, Media Screens, Consultation Booths, VIP Area, Group Brooking, Kids Area and Travel Money area. Key features centred around the new raft ceiling features that incorporated a subtle colour changing lighting scheme that creates an ambience within the store. The fit out included the complete strip out of the existing shop unit and installation of all new services along with new wall and floor finishes.
Audas have now undertaken a further 5 Discovery Stores for Thomas Cook in Belfast, Silverburn, Chelmsford, Kingston and Metro Centre and will continue delivering further stores with a much valued client.
